The models receive posing lessons from skilled voguing artist, Benny Ninja and supermodel, Vendela and take turns practicing poses known as the three C’s: Commercial, Catalog and Couture.
Whitney started a phone list for the other girls, to ensure that everyone has an equal amount of time to talk. Dominique misses her time and blames Whitney for not letting her know when it was her time to use the phone. Insults are shouted and tempers escalate, as Whitney and Dominique bicker back and forth.
The girls take to the streets and once again meet up with Benny Ninja and Vendela for a posing challenge. Benny splits the models into two teams of five and tells them that they will be posing against each other. The winning team will receive a bunch of free gifts and the girl who manages the best poses will receive a special gift.
Dominique and Claire tie and Lauren out-poses Marvita, while the rest of Team B produces better voguing poses than Team A.
Team B wins the challenge and Claire wins the individual prize. The five winning girls accept their free gifts and Claire wins a trip to Bora Bora. Back at the apartment, Fatima feels that most of the other girls aren’t taking the competition seriously and Marvita begins to wonder if she belongs.
Peter Buckingham photographs the girls close up, while their faces are splattered with paint. Jay Manuel likes Lauren, Aimee and Anya’s performance and he feels that Dominique has stepped up her game. He thinks that Whitney’s beauty is timeless, but feels that she is not comfortable with herself. Marvita struggles in front of the camera and Jay comments that she looks as though she’s checked out of the competition.
The judges see a soft and vulnerable side in Dominique’s photo and are impressed, while once again, they have nothing but praise for Lauren. They call Fatima’s picture beautiful, but it seems that she is not clear on the exact purpose of a razor, as her dark armpit hair is visible. Vendela feels that Whitney might not be taking the competition serious enough and thinks that she was goofing around too much during the street posing challenge.
When it comes to Marvita’s picture, the judges feel that she looks defeated and sad. This assessment lands her, as well as Whitney, who doesn’t seem to be focused enough, in the bottom two. In the end, Marvita is forced to say goodbye to the other girls.
