The 15th season of CBS's popular reality series The Amazing Race continues as one team breaks one of the cardinal rules of the Race and loses a passport.

In Episode 4 of The Amazing Race 15, titled “Sean Penn Cambodia Here We Come,” teams traveled to Cambodia where they ‘monkeyed around’ with locals and one team made a fatal error of losing a passport. Here’s a recap of how it all went down:

Next Destination: Phnom Penh

Departing from Reunification Palace in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, teams received a clue instructing them to fly to Phnom Penh, the capital and largest city of Cambodia. Once there, they had to find the Foreign Correspondence Club and track down the assignment editor. Then, speaking in a whisper, they had to ask for their next assignment.

Along the way, father/son Gary and Matt reflected on their relationship. Gary commented that Matt’s hair has been every color of the rainbow but he is learning to accept and appreciate his son. Harlem Globe Trotters “Flight Time” and “Big Easy” also felt that they were growing closer, while best friends Justin and Zev explained how they met and became friends. Finally, engaged couple Lance and Keri discussed the stress of the Race.

Teams traveled to the airport and found that there were no flights to Cambodia until 12:25 pm the following day. This allowed all nine teams to catch up, but dating couple Mika and Canaan were the last to secure tickets on the 12:25 pm. The two last-place teams, Lance and Keri and Justin and Zev, purchased tickets for a flight departing at 2:15 pm but were placed on the standby list for the earlier flight.

After pleading with officials at the airport, both Lance and Keri and Justin and Zev made it onto the 12:25 flight, much to the dismay of the others.

Foreign Correspondence Club

Teams located the assignment master and asked for their next assignment. Using only a photo as reference, they had to figure out their next destination was Raffles Hotel, Le Royal, where Jackie Kennedy Onassis stayed on her only visit to Cambodia in 1967. Once there, they had to locate the same photo at the hotel.

Brothers Sam and Dan were the first to locate the assignment master. Dating couple Mika and Canaan fell to last place when Canaan did not whisper and used incorrect phrasing, substituting the word “assignment” with “task.”

Raffles Hotel, Le Royal

When teams received the photo, many were confused about the identity of the woman. Gary was one of the few to recognize Jackie Kennedy, while Mika and Canaan thought she was Queen Elizabeth and Sam and Dan also thought she was a queen. In spite of the confusion, all teams were able to find their next clue at the hotel.

Detour: Cover or Wrap

At the Raffles Hotel, teams received a clue to their detour. The choice was Cover or Wrap. In Cover, teams had to find a local helmet stand, choose four motorcycle helmets and sell them to a family of four consisting of two adults and two children. When they received $10 in payment, they received their next clue from the stand owner.

In Wrap, teams had to find the Russian Market, locate stalls 980 and 981, receive an intricate silk scarf and search the market for a woman wearing the same scarf. When they found the correct match, teams received their next clue.

All teams except Lance and Keri chose Wrap. Justin and Zev’s taxi driver, Thierry, accompanied them into the market to assist with the task. “Flight Team” and “Big Easy” found two women in the market who also helped them locate scarves. Justin and Zev and Sam and Dan quickly finished the task, while others struggled to find their way through the small, confusing corridors. In a stroke of luck, Brian and Ericka’s woman with the matching scarf was standing right next to the stall. They left in third place. The Harlem Globe Trotters, Meghan and Cheyne, and Gary and Matt then completed the detour.

Meanwhile, Lance and Keri had a difficult time finding a family of four to buy their helmets, but they made the sale in time to leave in seventh place. Mika and Canaan and poker players Tiffany and Maria then matched their scarves at the same time and headed off to their next destination.

Roadblock: Monkey Maneuvers

Teams traveled on foot to Wat Toul Tom Pong and searched for their next clue. At the Roadblock, one member of each team had to dress up as a monkey with a mask and tail and complete three monkey maneuvers. When they finished their act, the monkey master handed them their next clue.

Justin and Zev were the first to arrive, but Zev struggled with the final maneuver, allowing Dan to overtake him. The brothers headed off to the pit stop first, while other teams continued to perform their monkey acts. Most teams easily finished the task, but Lance and Keri bickered when Keri continually fell off the beam.

When they completed the Roadblock, teams had to race through the city and search for Wat Phnom, a Buddhist shrine and tallest religious structure in the city.

Fourth Pit Stop: Wat Phnom

Justin and Zev were the first to arrive at the pit stop. However, they soon discovered that they had lost Zev’s passport. Although they tried to retrace their steps to find the missing passport, they were unable to do so and they became the fourth team eliminated from the Race. As a result, the other teams’ placements were adjusted. They arrived in the following order:

1) Sam and Dan

2) “Flight Time” and “Big Easy”

3) Brian and Ericka

4) Gary and Matt

5) Meghan and Cheyne

6) Lance and Keri

7) Mika and Canaan

8) Maria and Tiffany

9) Justin and Zev (Eliminated)

Tiffany and Maria narrowly escaped elimination for the second time this season.
