Celebrities must create a retail exhibit for identity-threat protector Lifelock. Just when they think they are finished, Donald Trump gives them a second challenge.
The teams are still upset over the double firing from last week. They are especially troubled that Donald Trump chose to let Khloe Kardashian go, since her firing had nothing to do with her performance and was solely based on the fact that she got a DUI a year ago. Joan Rivers tries to protest, but Trump quickly shuts her down. Teams Create Display for LifelockThe teams chose their project managers for the next challenge, which is to create a retail display for Lifelock. The teams will be judged on brand message, originality, and overall design. The winning project manager will receive $20,000 for their charity. Brian McKnight, who was gone the previous week at a concert, volunteers for Team Athena. Natalie Gulbis steps up for KOTU. That leaves only Annie Duke and Jesse James who have not volunteered to be project manager. Natalie Gulbis Tries to Keep the Peace with Joan Rivers and Clint BlackNatalie has her hands full in trying to keep the peace between Joan and Clint Black. Joan wants to have a joke as part of the display but Clint quickly shoots her down. She wants to be a team player and doesn't push the issue. Instead she suggests that the celebrities use their photos on the display, each with a funny line about identity theft. Brian McKnight's Cool Attitude Angers Annie DukeAnnie quickly takes over the room because Brian does not seem to be concerned about deadlines. Jesse James and Brande Roderick work on the display graphics. Jesse has a high fever and is throwing up. Annie is upset that the graphics are not getting to the printer on time, and blames both Brian for his lack of leadership skills and Brande for just sitting back and letting things happen. KOTU Wins the ChallengeBoth teams present to the Lifelock executives and the teams find out how they did when they get to the boardroom. Lifelock liked KOTU's idea and thought it used the celebrities well. Athena did a spin on what Lifelock was already doing, so they weren't original enough. KOTU easily wins. Joan Rivers Thinks Annie Duke is a SnakeJoan watches the boardroom antics from rival team Athena from the victory room. Annie had told her ahead of time that Brande was useless and should go. In the boardroom, however, Joan felt Annie did not speak up enough and instead put Joan's daughter Melissa in jeopardy of being fired. Joan throws down her drink and says she will leave if her daughter is fired. Brian decides to bring Brande and Melissa back into the boardroom. Brian remains cool, despite that his entire team has said he should be fired. Trump says Brian seems to be missing some enthusiasm since he's returned from his concert, and he doesn't argue. Trump fires him. Second ChallengeTrump calls the remaining contestants back into the boardroom and congratulations them on being in the final eight. Then he shocks them by assigning a second task to do right away. The teams will sell jewelry from his daughter's Ivanka's collection. Annie volunteered to lead Athena and Hershel steps for KOTU. Trump says Joan should do the task instead of Hershel. Both teams need to call up their celebrity friends to help raise as much money as they can. Teams Calls Up Their Celebrity FriendsJoan picked Natalie to go choose jewelry. Clint and Hershel start calling their friends for money. Joan's strategy is to sell one, extremely cheap piece of jewelry at a high margin. Hershel and Clint pick out the models. Annie Befriends BrandeAnnie tells her team if they lose she will bring in the people who did not raise the most money. She has Melissa pick out the jewelry and Brande to work with the models. Jesse works on the brochure. Melissa is irritated because she is paying extra attention to Brande this task and ignoring Melissa. Annie wants Brande to model one of the pieces. Melissa goes with Brande to help pick out clothes, but Brande focuses only on the outfit she will be wearing. Melissa steps in and gets the other models dressed. On Joan's team, Natalie is trying to find a poker player who wants to go up against Annie by giving their team the money instead of Annie's. Trump calls up Piers Morgan to help him watch the happenings of this task. Next week: Piers Morgan attends a charity auction featuring Ivanka Trump's jewelry. Annie and Joan argue in the boardroom.
